Senior Product Manager
Crowdfunder is seeking a results-driven and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead and optimise our core platform and Connect product suite. This role combines a holistic product vision with ownership over key performance areas - especially high-conversion, high-traffic components like the checkout flow.
Your work will directly fuel the success of thousands of fundraising projects, empowering people and partners to make good ideas happen in their communities.
The role
This is a high-impact, hands-on role at the heart of Crowdfunder’s mission. You’ll own the performance and evolution of our platforms, bringing together customer insight, data, and creativity to deliver a world-class crowdfunding experience.
You’ll collaborate across teams to design, deliver, and iterate on features that inspire confidence, increase conversion, and amplify good. From shaping product strategy to unblocking delivery, you’ll help us move fast, stay human, and make a difference.
Key responsibilities
Own performance across two key areas: the core Crowdfunder platform and the Connect (partner funding) product suite
Drive delivery and optimisation for end-to-end features, with special focus on the user journey and conversion (e.g., checkout flow)
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, customer experience, design, marketing, and the leadership team to prioritise, communicate, and deliver impactful product work
Lead through clarity: You’ll be the main communicator of progress, blockers, and delivery schedules across departments for the products you own
Balance strategic planning and hands-on execution, keeping an eye on the big picture while caring about the details
Champion a data-led approach, leveraging analytics to guide product decisions and prioritisation
Work fast and effectively under pressure, thriving in a lean and dynamic environment
Roll up your sleeves to get hands-on with delivery, problem-solving, and detail-focused improvements
About you
You’re a builder and connector: equal parts strategist, communicator, and doer. You care deeply about users, think creatively about problems, and get energy from seeing ideas become real. You bring clarity to complexity, rally teams around outcomes, and keep delivery grounded in purpose.
You’ll likely bring:
5+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, e-commerce, or charitable giving
Experience in A/B testing - skilled in designing tests, interpreting results, and iterating quickly to achieve measurable improvements
Experience working with corporate partners - confident in gathering requirements, presenting product plans, and leading development discussions to keep priorities on track
Experience with applying AI in both productivity and product development contexts - whether through workflow automation, AI-enhanced customer insights, or integrating AI features into the product experience
Proven track record of delivering high-performance features and improving key metrics like conversion or engagement
Comfortable with Agile development environments; experience with Jira is a plus
Confident in stakeholder engagement and managing a transparent product delivery process
Data-informed decision-making mindset, with strong analytical skills
Proficiency with Looker Studio (or similar tools like Tableau, Mixpanel, etc.) to build, interpret, and present performance dashboards
Experience working with CRM platforms to understand user behaviour, funnel performance, and segmentation
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in sustainability or social impact sectors
The ability to bring new ideas from outside product frameworks and iterate on internal processes
Hands-on experience in CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation)
Comfort with advanced SQL or direct database querying
Crowdfunder deeply values creativity, human-centric design, and mission-driven impact. You’ll thrive here if you:
Are collaborative, transparent, and human-first in how you work
Align with our values around social good and innovation
Bring curiosity, clarity, and initiative to everything you do
Enjoy a fast-paced, agile, and experimental setting
If you’re excited about building purposeful, high-performing products that help communities thrive, we’d love to hear from you!
In return:
Salary: £50-75k (depending on experience)

Our application and interview process
1. Application
We encourage you to put a little thought into your application as this is how we’ll start to assess whether we’re the right fit for each other. Your answers to our questions are as important as your CV. We don’t mind if you use AI to help articulate your own thoughts and real life examples, but we want to hire a great human so you’ll stand out if we can see your personality and unique perspective shine through!
2. Screening call
This will be a 20-30 minute video call with Maria (People & Places) to get to know you and what you’re looking for in your next role, to answer any questions you might have, and to make sure we align on all the basics.
3. Technical interview
This will be a one-hour interview with Nikolai (Head of Platform) and Simon (Co-CEO). We’ll ask you to prepare some kind of practical task in advance, which you’ll present and discuss. This might be a short presentation where you explain your approach to a specific scenario, with some follow up questions.
4. Values and behaviours interview
The final stage is a one-hour conversation with two more members of the Crowdfunder team, where the focus will be who you are as a team member. We’ll talk about your personal strengths and approach to work, how you communicate and collaborate with others, and alignment with our company values: United for Good, Empower Greatness, Think Creatively, and Always Human.
Reasonable adjustments: If you need any support or adjustments during the interview process, please let us know in your application. Simply let us know how we can help, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
About Crowdfunder
Crowdfunder is a fundraising platform on a mission to spread positivity across the globe and we’re excited to be expanding. We are dedicated to turning innovative community ideas into reality, connecting project creators with passionate backers to go beyond the confines of traditional fundraising.
Our values are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be part of a passionate and innovative team that is dedicated to making our world a better place.
Inclusion and diversity
Crowdfunder is tackling society's challenges, by making ideas happen. We connect projects that matter to people and companies who care.
We’re here to support diverse communities and to provide a platform for those who want to be heard; amplifying voices and impact is what we do.
We value the fact that each one of us is different, with different perspectives - and we want to reflect the diversity of the crowd we serve.
We recognise that we don’t all start from the same place - because advantages and barriers exist - but through Crowdfunder and crowdfunding, we believe we can offer greater equality of opportunity.
We’re creating an inclusive workplace culture, based on fairness, respect and honesty, because we believe leveraging differences achieves better results and better serves our crowd, our partners and our communities.
As part of that, we’re committed to educating ourselves, and each other, on gender, race, faith, disability, age, sexual orientation and other areas of diversity to ensure everyone is welcome and feels valued in our workplace as well as in our wider Crowdfunder community.
We recognise that ‘diversity and inclusion’ is not something that we will ever ‘achieve’. It’s not a box that can ever be ticked as ‘100% done’.
Diversity and inclusion is an ongoing journey of big steps and small nudges that will create a richer community and place to work and help us be a better business.
We’re proud to be on that journey together.
